Robert Lee McPherson Jr.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Robert Lee McPherson Jr., 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Shawn Hornsby officiating. Interment will be held in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. McPherson was born on November 22, 1940 in Cleveland, MS and died in West Monroe, LA on January 5, 2025. He lived in West Monroe for more than 56 years, retiring from Graphic Packaging Plant 70 in West Monroe, LA with 35 years of service. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee McPherson Sr. and Alma Geneva Taylor McPherson; brother, Raymond McPherson; sisters, Margaret Lowery, Edna Roberson, Doris Sheppeard, and Betty Harper; amd son-in-law, Johnny Lynn Cole.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dianne McPherson; daughters, Robin Gamble and husband, Stuart and Rhonda Cole; grandchildren, Brittney Gamble Sloan and husband, Tyler, Aubrey Gamble Smith and husband, Riley, Zachary Cole, and Dakota Cole; great grandchildren, Luca Sloan and Scottie Sloan.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Sheppeard, Stuart Gamble, Riley Smith, Leon Weeks, and Alan Arnold.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time on Tuesday.
