Robert M. Moreau of Monroe, LA was born on June 13, 1946 in Shreveport, LA, and passed away on April 2, 2021 in Monroe, LA.
Bob grew up in Shreveport, LA and graduated from Jesuit High School. He graduated from Louisiana Tech with a double major in zoology and chemistry in 1969. After a tour of duty in the United States Navy on board the USS Forrestal, he began working for Abbott Laboratories as a pharmaceutical representative. This position lasted for 19 years and after a brief retirement Bob began his second career driving 18-wheelers cross-country. Bob loved to hunt ducks, fish in the Gulf, and cook. He was semi-famous among friends and family for his fried fish, gumbo, and meatballs. No one ever left his table hungry.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Cile Moreau of Shreveport, LA.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Shari F. Moreau; daughter, Trish Smith (Scott) of Waco, TX; son, David M. Moreau of Austin; daughter, Sara E. Moreau of Austin; grandchildren, Callie and Tyler Puckett.
Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
