Robert E. Pritchard, Jr. (Rob) passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017 in Monroe, Louisiana.
Memorial service for Robert E. Pritchard, Jr. will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana, with Fr. Richard Norman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Rob was born October 31, 1974, in Tyler, Texas to Patricia B. Pritchard and Robert E. Pritchard. Rob graduated from high school at Dallas Academy. He worked in the retail business in Dallas until he moved to Monroe in 2002. He was an avid football and basketball fan. He loved to read mystery novels.
Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia B. Pritchard; grandparents, G. V. Pritchard and Nina Alene Pritchard and Joseph Barnett; and uncle, 1st Lt. Victor H. Pritchard.
Rob is survived by his father, Robert E. Pritchard and step-mother, Deborah W. Pritchard of Monroe; his grandmother, Helen Barnett of Wimberley, Texas; his aunts, Barbara Shetter of Wimberley, and Malissa Corondoni of San Diego, California; and uncle, Rodney Barnett (Donna) of Rockwall, Texas; his step-brothers, Brent Via of Lubbock, Texas and Bradley Via of Monroe; and his beloved pet, Bubba.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 E. Sunrise Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85718.
