Funeral services for Robert A.“Bob” Horton, 87, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Horton was born June 17, 1930 in West Monroe, LA and passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017, in Monroe, LA. Bob was a US Marine Corps Korean War Veteran and in the Marine Corps League.

Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Horton and Effie Wall Horton; 2 sisters, 2 brothers and 3 sons.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Joyce Chris Horton; daughter, Holly Reems and husband Billy; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
