Funeral Services for Rita Taylor, 60, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Monday, February 15, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Jimmy Piercey officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun.Rita was born on August 13, 1955 in Columbia, LA and passed away at her home on February 11, 2016. Rita’s world revolved around her entire family. Her greatest joy in life was her husband, children and grandchildren. Rita and her husband Ricky owned and operated Performance Cycle in West Monroe from 1992 until 2011 then opened Taylor’s Cycle. She enjoyed many motorcycle trips with her husband, extended family, and friends. Rita was not one of many words, but you knew where you stood in her life. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Eunice Perot; and brother, Joey Perot.Survivors include the love of her life, Ricky Taylor; children, Jason Taylor and Sheila Taylor; grandchildren, Laura, Brittney, and Jake; two brothers, Steve and Edward Perot; two sisters, Sharron Massey and Kathy Sikes; best friend, Donna Nash; special daughter in law, Rhonda Parker.Pallbearers will be Clark Hill, Steve Warren, Tom Aikens, Randy Hendry, Dewayne Massey, and Mickey Hooks.Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
