Funeral services for Rita Margaret Smith, 49, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
MS Smith passed away Friday, December 31, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Smith.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Calhoun Smith; brother, James M. Smith and wife Mary of Dallas, TX; two nieces, Hope Smith and Paige Smith of Dallas, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
She was God’s special child that touched many people’s lives.
