Rickey Lee Greer

Funeral Services for Rickey Greer, 68, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Matt Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

 Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday.

Rickey was born November 29, 1954, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away January 9, 2023, at his residence in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Greer was a firefighter and EMT and was voted as Who’s Who of Ouachita Parish. He loved cars, drag racing, watching Gunsmoke, and was a Saints fan. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Luther and Bessie Barnett; and paternal grandparents, Albert “A.C.” and Robbie Greer; and Father, Bobby Greer.

Survivors include his mother, Bessie Greer Williams; sister, Vickie LaCas (Harvey); daughter, Jennifer Myers (Mike); grandchildren, Jonas Myers, Shelly Allen, and Dalton Myers (Lauren); nieces, Kimberly Lambert (Jody) and Kristy LaCas; great nieces and nephews, Ainsley Lambert, Garrett Lambert, Dillon DeMoss (Andrea), and Bella Rayne; and great-great niece and nephew, Drew DeMoss and Amelia DeMoss (on the way).  

Pallbearers will be Jody Lambert, Harvey LaCas, Mike Myers, Jonas Myers, Dillon Demoss, and Dalton Myers.
