Rickey Ray Causey Sr.

Rickey Ray Causey Sr., a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on December 7, 2023, in West Monroe, LA. Born on June 23, 1961, in Monroe, LA. Rickey brought joy and laughter into the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all.

Rickey was a dedicated Machine Operator throughout his career. With his hard work and determination, he excelled in his profession and earned the respect of his colleagues. His commitment to excellence was evident in everything he did.

Beyond his professional life, Rickey cherished spending time with his family. He held a special place in his heart for his wife, Debbie. Their love story was one that inspired many around them. Rickey adored Debbie and their bond grew stronger with each passing year. Their unwavering love and support for one another were truly remarkable.

Known for his endearing personality and infectious sense of humor, Rickey had an uncanny ability to bring smiles to people's faces. Funny, loving, caring, kind, and welcoming - these qualities defined him as an individual. His quick wit and lighthearted nature lit up any room he entered. Rickey had an innate knack for finding humor in every situation.

Hunting and fishing brought immense joy to Rickey's life. He found solace in the great outdoors while pursuing these beloved hobbies. Whether it was patiently waiting for a fish to bite or tracking wildlife through the wilderness – these experiences allowed him to reconnect with nature and relax from the rigors of daily life.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Causey; his brother, Chris Causey; and his nephews, Nathan and Logan Causey.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Gwendola Causey and his sister, Tomekia Causey. They now rest in eternal peace, reunited once more. Though their physical presence may be gone, their spirits will live on, filling the hearts of those they left behind.

In this time of great loss, let us remember Rickey Ray Causey Sr. for the joy he brought into our lives. His memory will forever be etched in our hearts as a beacon of love, laughter, and kindness.
