Richard Francis (Dick) LeBrun, Sr.

February 18, 1927 — March 25, 2011

Funeral Mass for Mr. Richard Francis (Dick) LeBrun Sr., 84, of West Monroe, LA will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 28, 2011 at St. Paschal Catholic Church, West Monroe with Father Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery, West Monroe.

Mr. LeBrun was born February 18, 1927 in Menominee, Michigan to Clarence and Agnes LeBrun, was raised in Camden, AR and passed away on March 25, 2011in West Monroe, LA surrounded by his family. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. LeBrun was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3642 and the Msgr. Marsh 4th Degree Assembly. He was an avid golfer, wood worker, and member of the Victory Hill Boys Hunting Club of Victory, VT. Mr. LeBrun was a charter member of the West Monroe Jaycees. He retired as General Manager of Wilson Engraving Co. with 34 years of service in 1992.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Phyllis Longhenry and infant son.

Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Evelyn Lang LeBrun; children, Suzie and Ronnie Weaver of Kennesaw, GA, Kathy and Steve Orsak of Plano, TX, Rick and Loree LeBrun of West Monroe, LA, Ann and Barry Webb of West Monroe, LA, Mary LeBrun of Trinidad, CO
Norman and Cindy LeBrun of Spring, TX, Raymond and Rhonda LeBrun of West Monroe, LA
Aimee and Lewis Wilkie of Hiram, GA, Beth and Jimmy Mayfield of Marietta, GA, Joe and Angi LeBrun of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Sara and Ian Mayberry, Jenny and Nick McBride, Angela LeBrun and Richard LeBrun III, Barry and Stacy Webb, Kevin and Melanie Webb, Lisa and Chris Selby, Trey and Ashley Simmons, Michael and Crystal Simmons, Rachel , Rebecca and Andrea LeBrun, Raymond “Jay” LeBrun, Jr. and Chelsea LeBrun, Madison and Julia Wilkie, Audrey and Natalie Mayfield, Jami Roberts, and Josh Cripps; great grandchildren,
Logan Mayberry, Brennan McBride, Chris, Luke, and Emma Webb, Elaina, Mia, and Paxton Webb, Nathan and Chloe Selby, Kaylee and Dominic Simmons, Kyra and Nevaeh Simmons, and Dakota Roberts; brothers, Clarence and Al LeBrun and wife, Bette; sister, Mary Crabtree, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Barry Webb Jr., Kevin Webb, Richard LeBrun III, Jay LeBrun, Michael Simmons, Ian Mayberry, Nick McBride, Chris Selby and Richard Grenkevich. Honorary Pallbearer, Trey Simmons currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in Korea.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2011 and Vigil Wake will be 6:00 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The family would like to thank Agape Hospice for their loving care, especially Brenda Wade, and Nurses Annette Branco and Jennifer Garrett, Chaplain Paul Ford and Cheryl Minor.
