Richard William Baldree was born on December 12, 1938, in Kinston, North Carolina and passed away on June 14, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana.
He was a member of First West Baptist Church in West Monroe. He attended East Carolina University. He was an avid golfer and football fan. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs football. He worked for Dupont Manufacturing for twenty-five years then he went on to retire from Shaw process fabrication, after ten years of service. He loved to travel and play bingo.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrita Gayle Baldree; father, Edwin Baldree; mother, Louise Matke Baldree; brother, James Franklin Balfree; grandson, Brandon Lewis; and stepdaughter, Kathy G. Lewis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lee Elrod; son, William Lewis and his wife, Roni; granddaughters, Lizzie Smith and Caitlin Lewis, nephew, Chris Lewis (Michelle) and family; sister-in-law, Linda Wallace(James) and family.
