Mr. Richard A. Campbell passed away peacefully on April 21, 2018 in West Monroe, LA. He was born on March 6, 1935 in Little Rock, AR to Sam and Ruth Campbell.
Richard “Dick” Campbell graduated from Northeast University with a bachelor degree in Geology. He was the owner of Campbell Art’s for many years. His passion was fishing, hunting, and the love of animals. People were drawn to his sense of humor and dry wit. Joke teller, funny, and a gentleman at heart.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Debby Campbell; his children, Kim Hurlburt and husband Brian, Christi McGrew and husband Tim, Scott “Doug” Campbell and wife Sharon; eight grandchildren, Brittani, Bri, and Tori Hurlburt, Garrett McGrew, Quinci Crane, Savannah “SJ” and Dayne Campbell, Isabella Mazzanti; two great grandchildren, Roman and River McGrew; nephew Glynn Campbell; niece Lori McCallum and extended family.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:30 at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 1712 Wellerman Road in West Monroe, LA
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated in Richard’s name to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church or Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter.
