Funeral Services for Rev. Bobby N. Brantley, 76, of Mobile, AL, will be held at 3:00 pm on December 29, 2016 at Swartz Assembly of God with Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rev. Brantley was born on June 1, 1940 and passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.
In 2015 Rev. Brantley was honored at the Alabama District Council for 50 years of full time ministry with the Assemblies of God as an Ordained Minister. Bob along with his wife Joan have traveled in full time evangelism, served as missionary evangelist in Africa, India, and Europe and pastored numerous churches during their 57 years of marriage and ministry. Rev. Brantley served for the last 26 years as pastor of Norton Avenue Assembly of God in Saraland, AL.
Rev. Brantley was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Brantley and Myrtis Mildred Jordan Brantley; brother, Leroy Brantley.
Survivors include his sister, Mildred Ann Massey, his wife of 57 years, Joan Carroll Dickerson Brantley; daughter, Tamela ‘Tami’ Ruth Brantley Harper; son Jeffery Neil Brantley, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and “Little Bit” and “Mia”
