Funeral services for Rev. Billy C. Vaughn, Sr., 75, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Monroe with Rev. Tuck Roberts and Rev. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Rev. Vaughn passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at M D Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX. He was the pastor at Bonita First Baptist Church and worked at Burney’s Trend House.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Bonnie Walters Vaughn; children, Billy Vaughn, Jr. and wife Vicki, and Carmen Morrow and husband Russ; grandchildren, Jessica Glennon and fiancé Lance Dumas, Danielle Glennon, Laura Morrow, Caroline Morrow, Matt Morrow, Mark Morrow, Adam Vaughn, Zach Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, and Cody Vaughn; siblings, Sylvia Hubbard, and Pam Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Brad Johnson, Spencer Harrington, Robert Dial, Paul Cascio, Tommy Hubbard, and Oliver Holland.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
