Reginald "Reggie" Peter Fontana, Sr.

Memorial services for Reginald “Reggie” Peter Fontana, Sr., 68, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 25, 2018, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Columbarium, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Monday at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. Fontana was born July 9, 1949, in Monroe, LA, to Leon and Katie Fontana. He passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center. Reggie loved being outdoors, gardening, motorcycles, trucks, and tractors. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a kind-hearted man that would do anything for others. He enjoyed life and truly lived it to the fullest. Reggie loved his family deeply and treasured spending time with them. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Katie Fontana; son, Reginald Fontana II and wife Maggie; daughter, Kate Creel and husband Brad; grandchildren, Harrison Fontana and Landon Creel; brothers, Stevie and Gary Fontana; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members.
