Dianne Casey officiating.Becky was born September 20, 1948 in Monroe and passed away on September 12, 2014 in West Monroe. She was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God of West Monroe. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Brown.Becky’s life was centered around her son, Darren and her grandchildren who filled her heart and brought her much joy. She lived life with a zeal and passion, squeezing life out of every moment. She enjoyed singing and made her public debut at 3 years old with her dad in churches as he preached. She ministered the Love of Christ with song and teaching in churches, prisons, women’s meetings and on a personal level with all she met.Becky loved all things outdoors, taking in God’s creation from the mountainside, the lakeside, the beach, or her own yard. She loved sports, especially football, baseball and basketball, and played church and civic league softball.Becky adored her Lord Jesus Christ and longed for the coming of His Kingdom. She is survived by her mother, Frances Brown; son, Darren Griggs and wife Kathy; granddaughters, McKenzie Dandridge and Carrie Griggs; grandson, Triston Griggs; brother, Sonny Brown; sister, Lisa Herron; niece and nephew, Laralee and McKinley Herron.
