Graveside Services for Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Hatch Davis, 74, of Rayville, LA, 10:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Union Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dave Phillips officiating.
Mrs. Davis was born March 9, 1947 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2021. She was a member of Union Methodist Church. Mrs. Davis retired after 25 years from Mangham Elementary School as a teacher’s aide. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being outdoors. Becky had a servant’s heart, was very generous, helping anyone who was in need. She was a caregiver to her father, mother, brother, and son.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Hatch and Ruchelle Powell Hatch; son, Richard Wallace Davis; and brother, R.F. Hatch, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Bernard Davis; two grandsons, Robert Davis and Ryan Davis; brother, Frank Hatch; twin sister, Betsy Brown and husband Ronald of Kansas; two nieces, Bonnie Droge and husband Eric of Allen, TX; Leigh Anne Stucky and husband Jason of Kansas; as well as a special friend, Brenda Colvin.
Pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Ryan Davis, Frank Hatch, Scotty Bennett, Ronnie Gilley, and Josh Conville.
Memorials may be made to Union Methodist Church, 3055 Highway 132, Rayville, LA 71269.
She was loved and will be missed by many.
