Funeral services for Reba Forrest Tucker Carroll will be private.
A memorial will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 for Reba who passed away on April 13, 2017 in Monroe after a lengthy illness. Visitation will begin at 5pm and memorial will begin at 6pm. This memorial will celebrate Reba’s life and will be held at Ouachita Baptist Church located at corner of Caples Road and Hwy 3033 in West Monroe, LA.
Reba was born July 15, 1937 in Monroe, LA to Anthum and Corene Forrest. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald Charlie Tucker.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Deborah Denise Tucker Demaree, Felicia Alyson Tucker Auttonberry and husband Daniel Auttonberry, and Donna Jo Tucker and her sister Violet McEnery and husband Donald Ray McEnery and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Reba adored her family, especially her son-in-law, whom she treated as her son.
Reba spent the last half of her life in West Monroe, LA. She worked at Northeast Louisiana University for 21 years before retiring. She had recently moved out to the country to be closer to family and was enjoying her new house.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers and support during this difficult time. We would also like to extend our deepest thanks to the doctors, nurses, and to all involved in her care during her stay at St Francis Hospital.
