Raymond Ray Roberts, Jr.
Funeral service for Mr. Raymond Ray Roberts, Jr., 60, of West Monroe, LA, will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 4, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Otis Lemore and Rev. Gerald Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Ray passed away on April 24, 2013, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a brick mason and retired from Graphic Packaging. Ray loved spending time with his wife, daughters, grandkids, and family, especially fishing and working in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bernice Roberts; father and mother-in-law, Lavelle and Patty Jo Underwood; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Underwood, Pete Mulhearn, and Clyde Greer.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Retta Roberts; daughters, Brandy West and husband Jason and their children, Sophie and Graham; and Rachel Tullos and husband Brad and their children, Abbey, Macey, and Emmey; sisters, Carolyn Greer, Sue Cumpton and her husband Bobby, Shirley Heath and her husband Joe, Annette Mulhearn, and Kay Roberts Hembree; sisters-in-law, Mary Kendrick and Jeannie Horton and husband Jimmy; brother-in-law, Tommy Kendrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Harold McMillian, C.L. Lewis, Ricky Cobb, Matt Pace, James Dow, and Dale Roberts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul McMorris, Courtney Hatten, and Perry Payne.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, May 3, 2013, at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
