Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Ralph Brown, 79, of Chatham, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Robbie Lawson and Rev. Lance Otwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Jackson Parish, LA.

Mr. Brown was born on December 30, 1937 and passed away on February 13, 2017. He served in the United States Navy, and worked for Smith Exterminating in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Brown loved being with his family, coaching baseball and was an avid LSU Fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maggie Brown and by his brother, Wilfur Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sue Hester Brown; children, Tonia Warner (Jeff), Rodney Brown (Necole) and Lori Godwin (Mark); sister, Wanda Loe; special sister-in-law, Glenda Bearden (Von); 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Derek Brown, Madison Zaragoza, Chuck Head, Zachary Godwin, Sam Taunton, Greg Colvin, Dustin Haney and Tim Bearden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Norred, Mark Bearden, and Von Bearden.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
