Prentice Ray Takewell

Graveside services for Prentice Ray Takewell, 86, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA, with Rev. Tom Lowe officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Takewell passed away August 13, 2021, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mr. Takewell was retired from Wilcoxon Sheet Metal Company. He loved music and playing steel guitar with Gene Stewart and the Country Rebels. He also loved to rabbit hunt.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Takewell; and Parents, Fred Takewell and Lida Sutton Takewell.

Survivors: his children, Robbie Sue Watts, Tim Takewell, Kelly Takewell, Marty Robinson and her husband, Scotty, and Tracy Roark and her husband, David; Grandchildren, Don Risher and wife Wendi, Kata Cascio, Luke Cascio and wife Angie, Kyle Takewell and wife Kimberly, Jeni Takewell, Dylan Robinson and wife Blair, Zan Roark and wife Kaitlyn, Logan Robinson and wife Skyler, Chase Roark and wife Penny, Ethan Roark, Clint Viola and Daniellet Viola; numerous great grandchildren; Brother, Owen Takewell and his wife, Cathie; three nephews, Danny, Chris, and Matt Takewell.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Takewell, Zan Roark, Chase Roark, Ethan Roark, Luke Cascio, and Don Risher.
