Phyllis Ann Williams

Phyllis Ann Smith Williams, 59 of Monroe, LA. died on September 10, 2021, surrounded by her family after a brief courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.

She is preceded in death by her father Carlton C. Smith, sister Bettina R. (Tina) Hitchcock, brother, David C. Smith, nephew James C. (Jimmy) Green, and her beloved dog and best friend, Simon. Phyllis loved her Lord deeply and was ready to be in perfect peace in His arms.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Ellen Pace Smith; daughter, Melissa A. Tillman; grandson, Parker C. Tillman; sisters, Jerry L. Cloud and Mary Kay Young; brother, Gregory W. Smith, and wife Connie along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist church.

There will be an intimate celebration of life for immediate family.
Memorials may be made in her memory to CASA of NELA, the Baptist Children’s Home or North Monroe Baptist Church.
