Philip Caulfield

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Philip Caulfield, 59, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 23, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. W.C. “Dub” Hatten officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Philip was born on July 26, 1958, and passed away on March 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was a very special son, brother, and friend, who at the age of 17 went to live at G.B. Cooley Services in Monroe, LA., with home visits every other weekend. Philip is preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Caulfield; and a brother, Joseph “Larry” Caulfield.

Survivors include his mother, Sallie Gibson Caulfield; brothers, John Caulfield (Kathy), and Mark Caulfield(Mary); sisters, Susan Shields (Fred) and Sallie Schexnaider (John Lambert); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Fred Shields, Sr., Ray Paul Schexnaider, Nick Schexnaider, Fred Shields, Jr., and Mike Shields.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.

Memorials may be made to G. B. Cooley Services and also to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Caulfield family wishes to give heartfelt Love and Thanks to the staff at G. B. Cooley and also to the staff at University Health for the care given to Philip.
