Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. P.J. was born on April 21, 1938 in Monroe, LA and was taken to heaven by his Guardian Angel on April 21, 2007. P.J. was a loving and caring person. His was a devoted family man. P.J. was a retired self-employed off-set printing repairman. He was a graduate of St. Matthew’s Catholic School, after which he served his country in the United States Army, with his tour of duty in Germany. His passion in life was his hunting and fishing; he was the Vice President of Kellog’s Old Stagg Hunting Club. He as also past president of the Progressive Men’s Club of Monroe. P.J. was proceeded in death by his mother and father Jake and Anna Tornatore. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lyde Tornatore; daughters Tiereze Murry; Lisa Beurlein; Shala Tornatore; Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters Anna DeMers and husband H.J.; Rosemary Crowson; Lucille LaPietra and husband Jesse; his brother and dearest friend Salvadore “Sam” Tornatore; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Pallbears will be John Brown, Travis Maxwell, Charles Zimek, and Cleve Tarver. Honorary Pallbears will be the members of Kellog’s Old Stagg Hunting Club.
