Funeral services for Perry Lee Crow, 88, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 2, 2012, at Lakeshore Baptist Church with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Crow died Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer for many years, and was an active deacon. Mr. Crow was a church softball coach and served on many committees. He retired as office manager after 37 years of employment at Ouachita Coca Cola. Mr. Crow was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII in the Headquarters and Service Company 153rd Engineer Construction Battalion.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen Rodden Crow; daughter, Connie Bennett and husband Glen of Monroe; son, Carl Crow and wife Pat of Bloomington, IL; five grandsons, Greg Bennett and wife Jessica of Benton, LA, Jeff Bennett and wife Kyla of Monroe, Jerry Bennett and wife Ashley of Baton Rouge, LA, Kevin Crow and wife Ashleigh of Raymore, MO, and Keith Crow and fiancée Sislye Soper of Washington, IL; two great grandchildren, Brady Bennett of Benton, LA and Lillie Crow of Raymore, MO.
His grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at Lakeshore Baptist Church.
