Peggy Sue LaCour

Funeral services for Peggy Sue LaCour, 70 of Baskin were held Monday, August 3, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. John Albright officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Hale Cemetery on Union Church Road near Baskin. Ms. LaCour was born on December 29, 1944 in Olla, LA and died July 31, 2015 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She graduated from LaSalle High School, Northeast Louisiana University, taught school in West Baton Rouge Parish. She was preceded in death by those who raised her: her mother-Velma Francis LaCour; grandparents-Mr. and Mrs. Allen Francis; and great-aunts-Eunice, Lottie, and Rose Holloway. She is survived by her son-Anthony Wayne LaCour and wife Dena; granddaughter-Shelby Gatlin and husband Reese; grandson-Mason LeCour; granddaughter-Sydney LaCour; and great-grand daughter-Raelynn Bolton; sister-Polly Miley and husband Wayne; niece-Alison Cupit and husband Mark; great nephews-Cole and Carson Cupit; and a host of cousins and friends.
