A graveside memorial service for Ms. Peggy Dianne Graves Edmiston, 63, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 20, 2023, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Monroe, LA with Rev. Brian Mercer officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the mausoleum.
Ms. Edmiston was born November 9, 1960, in Monroe, LA, and passed away at her home November 14, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents EJ and Voncille Graves.
Peggy was the baby of our family. She was nine years younger than her sister and 10 years younger than her brother and was loved unconditionally. In her adolescent years she was ferociously spoiled by her older brother and sister. If Peggy wanted it, Peggy got it with all the love two siblings could give. Her first brand new vehicle was purchased off the showroom floor by Dabo, so she continued to be spoiled even in her teen years. Peggy was the most beautiful person and even though she didn’t have any biological children, anyone that knew Peggy knew she passionately loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She especially loved following Tate and his athletic events. She texted Tate every game day and told him good luck.
Survivors include her life partner, Matt Pace and much-loved dog, Buddy; brother, Arthur David “Dabo” Graves and wife Sherrie; sister, Sandra Kay Graves Craft and husband Mark; nieces and nephews, Michael Graves, Alisa Graves Rockett, Bryan Graves, James “Jimmy” D. Cerda, Jr., Angela Leigh Cerda Hamby, Jayson Craft, and Adam Craft; and great nieces and nephews, Maddie Graves, Ava Graves, Scarlett Graves, Emerson Rockett, Kristie Miles Fargo, Ben Cerda, Belle Cerda, Bea Cerda, Banks McCurdy, Allie Rae Hamby, Tate Daniel Hamby, and Keegan Craft.
