Services for Pearl Alice Sullivan, 88, of Start, LA a retired Secretary for Coast Butane will be 2 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
Mrs. Pearl was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville, Passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents H. P. Reeves and Mary Mabelle Reeves as well as three brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years-Ivy H. Sullivan, Sr. of Start, LA; a daughter-Rita Sullivan Murry and her husband Rich of Dallas, TX; two sons Doug Sullivan and his wife Carmen and Ivy H. “Chip” Sullivan, Jr. both of Start, LA.; ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; one brother Ralph R. Reeves of Florida,
Two sisters Helen Reeves of Cabot, AR and Mary Ellen “Bill” Carter of Tennessee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Murry, Heath Murry, Chis Sullivan, Larry Milby,
Charles Johnston, Waylan Colvin and Joe Comeaux.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time Tuesday at the church.
