Paulette Hardesty Boyd

Paulette Hardesty Boyd of Downsville, LA was born on September 20, 1948 and went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2021.
She fought a courageous battle with diabetes and heart illness, but never lost that sweet smile. The room lit up the room everywhere she went. Laughter surrounded her sweet and witty nature.
She worked as a professional administrative assistant for years, and later self-employed business owner. She was an active member of Crest View Baptist Church in Farmerville.
Her creativity was insurmountable, as she loved crafting of all kinds, especially flower wreaths and arrangements. Her true love was fishing though, she could out fish anyone!
Her survivors include her devoted husband of 34 years, Coy A. (Skip) Boyd, Jr.; Sister Phyllis (Haven) Fearn; Brother Scott (Bonnie) Hardesty, Sister-In-Law Debbie (Ronald) Rankin; 3 Step-Daughters Sheila (fiancé Zach), Michelle (Boyte) Gascon, and Kerry Boyd; Grandchildren Gene, Heather, & Charles Boyd. Taylor Wright, Elaine and Adriel Gascon.
Michael and Andrew Boyd; 5 Great Grandchildren, and a host of special nieces, nephews extended family and friends who all adored her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Novella (Hill) Hardesty; Brother Sam Hardesty; Sister Sheila Lawrence, and Grandson Danny Kyle Wright.

Pallbearers: Bill Chappel, Jeff Worley, Jamie Gates, James Searcy, Andrew Boyd, and Michael Boyd.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Crest View Baptist in Farmerville, LA Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.. Visitation will be at 1:00 P. M. until service time on Saturday.
