Memorial Services for Paul William Craig, Sr., 86, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Craig was born on January 24, 1931, and passed away January 7, 2018. He served in the USAF and was stationed in England. He owned and operated Pelican Towing on the Mississippi River, and he also owned the Pontiac Dealership in Oak Grove, LA. A true entrepreneur, Paul owned several businesses during his lifetime, but one of his favorites was when he owned “Today’s Home Health” in Monroe during the 1990’s. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend, who loved the Lord with all his heart and daily asked the Spirit to lead him and protect his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aleen Suthards and Norman Shaw Craig; son, Norman Shaw Craig, II; and sister, Norma Stroble.
Survived by his loving, devoted wife, Carolyn Craig; son, Paul W. “Butch” Craig, Jr. (Yafan); daughter, Cindy Pundt (Ron); daughter-in-law, Emily Craig; sons he loved as his own, Paul Costello (Wendy) and Patrick Costello (Krista); grandchildren, Chase Craig (Brandy), Lauren Craig, Carson Craig, Chelsi Craig, Dr. Che’ Gwin (Cari), Craig Pundt (Ashley), Elizabeth Pundt, Stone Costello, Gage Costello, River Costello, Canyon Costello, Bodie Costello and Bella Costello; great grandchildren, Logan Craig, Aubrey Craig, Ashlyn Pundt, Chayne Pundt, Maddie Gwin, Logan Gwin and Cooper Mulhearn; and a host of friends through the years.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday.
