Mr. Danna was born July 25, 1961, in Shreveport, LA, and passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at his residence. He helped coach both of his daughter’s teams. He was an assistant coach at River Oaks and head coach at Downsville High School. Over several years Paul helped his teams he coached obtain state championships in the ASA, NSA, and USFA Organizations and district championships in LHSAA. He was a friend and encouraged all his girls and could remember every girl’s face and name he coached. He helped numerous girls obtain softball scholarships.
Survivors include Sarena Varnell Danna; children, Kelsey Rae Danna and Emily Janine Danna; special friend, Mendi Carol Bridges; sister, Denise Danna McIntosh and husband Charles McIntosh M.D.; and parents, Angelo and Frances Danna.
