Graveside services for Mr. Paul H. Aron, 75, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 29, 2021, in the Jewish Cemetery in Monroe, with Rabbi Judy Ginsburgh officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M, on Friday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road, in Monroe.
Mr. Aron was born August 22, 1945 to Trudy and Dave Aron, in Monroe, LA and passed away at his family home on January 27, 2021, in Monroe, LA. He graduated from Neville High School in 1963. He loved his country and was a Vietnam War Veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. He later furthered his education and graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1968. He went on to serve as an agent for the FBI and then as President and CEO of Omni Bank where he retired after 35 years in the banking and financing industry.
Paul was an avid golfer and loyal fan of Ole Miss Football! He was also known to be a “Permanent Fixture” at Arons Pharmacy, having traditional Monday lunches with his friends and frequenting the candy aisle. However, he was most known as a loving father, grandfather, and loyal/supportive friend, having served as a special mentor for many who knew him. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all!
He is survived by his children, Sydney Sullivan and husband Chris, and Stephanie Morgan and husband, Skylar; grandsons, Jacob Sullivan, and Doc Morgan; and granddaughter Emma Sullivan; brother, Carl Aron and wife Donna; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be J. R. Woodall, Skylar Morgan, Chris Sullivan, David Aron, Scott Gillum, and Tim Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dixon Abel, Henry Cole, Carl Aron, Jon Guice, Herb Boystun, and Bubba Via.
Memorials may be made to the ULM Golf Team.
