Funeral services for Paul F. Danna, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Rev. Sebastian Kallarackel and Mnsgr. Edmund Moore officiating. Interment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road Monroe, LA.
Mr. Danna died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home. He was an avid fisherman with thorough knowledge of Black Bayou. He was also a great musician and played the harmonica and guitar at the same time.
Mr. Danna was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia R. Danna; his brothers, Anthony S. Danna, Sam F. Danna, Jerome Danna, Felice Danna and Vincent J. Danna; and sisters, Josephine Ticheli, and Annette Anzelmo.
Survivors include his brothers, Johnny J. Danna, and Angelo T. Danna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2012, with a Rosary to be read at 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
