Mr. Boatright was retired from the U. S. Navy and passed away on Dec. 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by wife, Sandra Boatright, 3 brothers; Joseph Wade Boatright, Floyd Boatright, and Rev. Thurman Boatright, parents; Rev. Henry Ernest Boatright and Blanche Hunter Boatright.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters; Donna McCarthy and husband Cecil of Burleson, TX, and Angela Holt of Jacksonville, TX, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Jean Lowrey and husband Rev. Jerry of Vernon, TX, Edna Ruth Beggs and husband Rev. Max of Amarillo, TX, and Glenda Hall and husband Rev. Leland Hall of Chillicothe, TX, and 1 brother, Rev. Melvin Boatright and wife Bessie of Gilmer, TX.
