Paul Dale Gandy

Services for Paul Dale Gandy, 90, of Mangham, will be 10:00AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017, with Rev. Rick Aultman officiating. Burial will follow in Gwin Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.

Paul was born on October 3, 1927, in Athens, LA, and passed from this life on November 26, 2017, in Rayville. He was a faithful member of Mangham Baptist Church for over 60 years. He loved reading his Bible, gardening, fishing, and serving others. He was involved with Camper’s on Mission projects-building churches and witnessing for Christ. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. He worked for LP&L for 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents-Ovid and Mattie Langford Gandy; brothers-Harold, Clyde, and Prentice Gandy; sisters-Helen Powell and Jean Powell; and grandson-Stanley Paul Gandy.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years-Barbara Johnson Gandy of Mangham; sons-Paul Dale Gandy, Jr. and wife Gwyn of Eureka Springs, AR, Jerry Gandy and wife Rachel of Mangham, Prentis Gandy and wife Donna of Mangham, and Jimmy Gandy and wife Stacy of Mangham; eight grandchildren-Luke Gandy, Jacob Gandy, Isaac Gandy, Anna Kate Hardy, Caleb Gandy, Gabrielle Boyd, Logan Gandy, and Lily Gandy; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Luke Gandy, Jacob Gandy, Isaac Gandy, Caleb Gandy, Logan Gandy, Cody Boyd, and John Hardy.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the Mangham Baptist Church.
