Patsy “Pat” Ann Harbuck Sanders Jones
On March 18, 2021, Mrs. Pat passed away peacefully at the age of 91. She was born on August 12, 1929. She was a beloved daughter, mother and grandmother known for always smiling and laughing.
She loved traveling, cooking, and spending time with her many friends. While attending LSU she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1950. Mrs. Pat was also a member of the Sir John Payne Chapter of Colonies Dame, P.E.O. Chapter AE, and the Fort Miro Chapter D.A.R. organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James S. and Doris M. Harbuck; first husband, Hilary C. Sanders, Jr.; second husband, Dr. Bolling Jones; and son, James H. Sanders.
Mrs. Pat is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hanna (Jim); her daughter-in-law, Nancy Sanders; and grandchildren: James Hanna, Robert Hanna (Dawn), Hillary Brink (Ben), Raven Blutcher (Bob). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Carter, Bridget, and Owen Hanna; as well as Garrett and Eleanor Brink.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hanna, James Hanna, Ben Brink, Tom Hayes, Lyle Miller, and Mike Smith.
Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Pat on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Shriners or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
