Patsy Lucas

Memorial services for Patsy Lucas, formerly of Monroe LA, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday Feb.11,2017 in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Highway 165, Monroe, LA with Rev Bill Ashburn officiating.

Mrs. Lucas was born Sept. 14, 1933 in Bastrop, LA and passed away Monday Feb.6,2017 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

Mrs. Lucas is preceded in death by her parents James and Ruby Brasier Brooks and her sister Linda Gay Bankston Gregory.

She worked for Bancroft Paper Company for over 30 yrs and Fulton Paper Company (Albany, GA) and CenturyLink of Monroe, LA.
She served as a Board Member of the Louisiana State Bowling Association and was a past Secretary of the Monroe Bowling Association. She was a 200 and 600 Club member. Patsy was also an ALL State Basketball guard from Bastrop High School.

She is survived by her loving husband Buster Lucas of 65 years, sons Robert (Bobby) Lucas and wife Sylva of PA and Rusty Lucas of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Brother Billy James Brooks of CA and Brenda K. Brooks of Bastrop, LA. Three grandsons James Ryan Lucas, Kenneth Tyler Lucas, and Austin Taylor Lucas and two granddaughters Terrance and Tristen.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
