Proverbs 31:28-31
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many people do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Patricia Elaine Modz arrived at her Heavenly home on February 8, 2025. Attending her celebration in Heaven is her father and mother, Hardy and Elaine Otwell; and son, Toby Little who was always her special little toad frog.
Pat left behind her husband, Larry; children, Skip, Ron, Angel, Stephane, Carrie, and their spouses; and her sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Pat touched the lives of many with her kindness and care. A loving wife, mother, and mamaw, Pat always placed the needs of others before her own. Her unconditional love and unwavering support brought joy and comfort to those around her, and her sweet smile and giggle could brighten anyone’s day.
Pat lived a simple life, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the moments spent with loved ones. Whether it was doing hair, making the best biscuits in the world, talking to her sisters on the phone, or feeding the whole family whom she loved more than anything else, Pat had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be carried in the hearts of her family and friends.
Pat’s family would like to thank the Glenwood ICU staff for the excellent quality of care and especially ICU nurses, Kelsey and Monica, for their incredible labor of love while working with her.
