Patsy Jane Crosser Hollenshead went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 26, at the age of 73.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA, on Sunday, May 30, 2021, starting at 3:00 P.M., with Dr. Randy Burdeaux officiating, burial immediately following in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Sunday, May 30.
Pat was born October 29, 1947, to William and Emily Crosser of Sterlington, LA. Pat met her husband of 42 years, David Hollenshead, at Graphic Packaging in West Monroe, LA, where she retired after 28 years. During her free time, Pat enjoyed volunteering, shopping, going to the movies, and playing pranks on her loved ones.
Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those she loved. Pat was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, Mawmaw, and friend. She helped everyone in need without hesitation. Pat volunteered for Hug-A-Bear, Grace Pointe Refuge Outreach, and Ouachita Volunteers for Family and Community where she was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2011.
Pat joins many loved ones in Heaven - her mother and father, two brothers, Buddy and Freddy Crosser, and special friend, Frankie Meeks. She is survived by her husband, David Hollenshead, her daughter, Shalia Hollenshead (Quentin Baker), grandchildren, Sarah-Jessica Hollenshead & Chase Smith, sister, Shelby Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lynn Antley, Robert Lawrence, Scotty Lindsey, John Ford, Chase Smith, and Johnny Lutrick will have the special honor of serving as her pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
