Funeral Services for Pamela D. Perdue, 69, of Monroe, LA will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 27, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. John McCartney officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Perdue passed away June 25, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to all that knew her. Pam was a retired cash and stockroom associate at JC Penny’s. After retirement she enjoyed trips to Vicksburg, Biloxi and Las Vegas. She was an avid Saints fan and Mardi Gras devotee. Pam also enjoyed the holidays with her family where her baking and needle work skills were a treat to all.
Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Perdue; and her parents, JD Sims and Inez Wisenor.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kathryn Schempf and Sharon Wallace and husband, Jerry; two granddaughters, Misty Finley and husband, Brandon, and Miranda Wallace; two great grandsons, Braxton and Jase Finley; sister, Patricia Vegvari; brother, Jimmy Sims; also she leaves behind former husband and father of her children, Gene Schempf; and her loyal pets, her dog, Charlie Brown and two cats, Trips and Peg.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Finley, Jack Holmes, Andrew Lassen, Ed Wicks, Tony Danna and Tommy Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
