Funeral services for Norman Strother, 90, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2010, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Strother passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving during WWII.

Mr. Strother was preceded in death by his parents, wife of sixty-one years, Mary Lee and son, Douglas.

Survivors include his two daughters, Cecilia McCandlish and Linda Carter and husband Ron; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
