Norma Sue Kent

Graveside services for Mrs. Norma Sue Kent, 77, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Craig West officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Kent died June 28, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Kent was retired as a Department Manager at Wal-Mart in Ruston. She grew up at the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and had a special place in her heart over the years for the children and cottage parents.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jack Kent, Jr., and Jeffery Lee Kent; and three brothers, Ralph, Joe, and Roy Swenk.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jack T. Kent, Sr.; Sons, Thomas Rock Kent and wife, Renee, Aaron Jay Kent and wife, Dianne, and John V. Kent and wife, Angela; 13 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, LA.
