Nettie Viola Ditta

Funeral service for Mrs. Nettie Viola Ditta, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Job Edathinatt Scaria and Rev. Paul Thudurparampil officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mrs. Ditta, a wife and business woman, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She loved cooking Italian foods, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Ditta was preceded in death by her husband, Victor John Ditta; parents, Clemen and Effie Bea Viola; brother, Warren J. Viola; son, Anthony V. “Butch” Ditta; and grandson, Joseph David Ditta.
Survivors include her children, Clemen John Ditta, Joey V. Ditta and wife Sally, Vincent David Ditta and wife Trish; daughter-in-law, Debbie Ditta; brothers, Leroy Viola and wife Nora, Cecil Viola, and wife Marie; Grandchildren, Tony, Damian, Danielle, Christa, Van, Cara, David, Lacey, and Tammy; great grandchildren, Lexie, Savannah, Carlie, Allie, Mason, Taylor, John Patrick, Charlee, Celie, Johnathan, Lillian, Stevie, Nathan, Mallory and Brock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Damian Ditta, Van Ditta, David Ditta, II, Tommy Ditta, Anthony Ditta and Sal Petitto.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:30PM Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the American Heart Association.
