Nelda G. Gray

Funeral service for Mrs. Nelda G. Gray, 83, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at First Baptist Church Swartz with Rev. Garrison Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Gray was a member of the First Baptist Church Swartz. She was the manager of the Red Roof Inn for over 25 years until she retired. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Gray; and siblings, Doris Ingram, Elaine Quirk, and Bill Strother.
Survivors include her children, Sherrie Tyler (Gary) and Michael Gray (Holly); grandchildren, Erin Young (Brad), Holly Trisler (Logan), Dalton Gray, Christian Gray, Cross Boyd, Tyler Boyd and Corbin Boyd; great granddaughter, Finley Young; and sister, Virginia Kay Willis.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Boyd, Corbin Boyd, Cross Boyd, Don Johnson, Brad Young, and Logan Trisler.
Memorials may be made to Swartz First Baptist Church.
