Nancy C. Scurria

Funeral service for Miss Nancy C. Scurria, 73, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. John Paul Crispin, FMH and Rev. Tobias Obado, FMH, officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Miss Scurria was born on July 29, 1950, in Vicksburg, MS, and passed away on October 29, 2023, in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Joseph M. Scurria and Sam Joseph Scurria, Jr.; and her sister, Angela Scurria Workman.

Miss Scurria was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She worked for Care Solutions, as a caregiver, for over 22 years. Working as a caregiver she made numerous lifelong friends, who were more like her family.

Survivors include her four brothers, Andrew Scurria of Monroe, Edward A. Scurria of Tallulah, Gerald Scurria and wife Susan of Missouri, and John T. Scurria and wife Krista of Baton Rouge; nephew, Joshua Scurria; and niece, Anna Rose Scurria of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be, Steve Banks, Anthony J. Quillman, Morgan Breard, Herbert Breard, Bob Willsher, and Leighton Breard.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
