Nancy Louise Gholson Glawe

Funeral services for Nancy Louise Gholson Glawe, 72, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2018, at First Christian Church, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Craig Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Glawe was born January 3, 1946, in Monroe, LA, and died Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at her home. She was a member of First Christian Church and a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Glawe received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Northeast Louisiana State College (now ULM) in August 1968, was a school teacher in the Ouachita Parish School System and retired from Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals in 2005.

Mrs. Glawe was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lloyd Neil Glawe; parents, Roy Lee and Essie Margaret Smith Gholson; and brother, Harvey Lee Gholson.

Survivors include daughter, Lori (Jeff) Adams; son, John (Stacey) Glawe; grandchildren, Anastasia Glawe and Sean Adams; sister, Harleen Gholson Willis; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
