Nancy Golson Aswell

Graveside services for Nancy Golson Aswell, 89, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Hasley Cemetery Pavilion in West Monroe, with Rev. Alberto Sandino officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Nancy was born on January 21, 1932, in Monroe, LA, to parents, Almer and Mattie Golson and passed away on May 26, 2021, in West Monroe, LA.

Nancy worked as a secretary for her husband’s business, Kenneth Aswell Plumbing. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time at their camp on Lake D’Arbonne and working in her flower beds.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Aswell; parents, Almer and Mattie Golson; brothers, Charles Golson and Glenn Golson; sister, Carol Golson; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Aswell.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sons, Jim Aswell and Johnny Aswell; and grandson, Erik Aswell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, May 28, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
