Nan Watson

Graveside Services for Nan Watson, 88, of Eros, LA will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun with Bro. Jimmy Pitson officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Nan was born on August 24, 1928 in Monroe, LA and passed away on September 20, 2016 at her home in Eros, LA. She was a member of Clark Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed going to their game day. She loved going fishing at Lake Claiborne and being a member at The Wellness Center where she attended the water aerobics class. Nan sacrificed for her family, especially for her grandchildren whom she loved immensely. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great friend to all. Nan is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Richard Watson; parents, John B. and Myrtle P. Evans, Sr.; granddaughter, Alexandra “Lexy” Nicole Watson; and brother, John B. Evans, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Randy Watson and wife Cindy; grandson, Matthew Watson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, September 23, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ron Hammett and his staff, Hospice Compassus, and her sitters for the love and care given to Nan.
