Myrtis Tidwell Taylor Mulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Myrtis Tidwell Taylor, 95, of Point, LA, will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Wilhite Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was a resident of the Point Community and died November 17, 2014 in West Monroe at the home of her daughter after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elma Ray Tidwell; husband, Earl Taylor; brother, Norris Tidwell; and sisters, Berrel Tidwell, Laveal Tidwell, Odell Hinton, Vernice Simpson and Marteal Redden.Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Williams and husband, Bennett of Haughton, Linda Williams and Cecelia Taylor of West Monroe; grandchildren, Joely Leblanc and Jason Jinks; and five great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Paul Leblanc, Preston Leblanc, Bennett Williams, Duane Simpson and Perry Williams.Honorary Pallbearer Austin Leblanc. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
