Funeral services for Myrle Ralph Morris, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2014, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Dr. James Parker and Rev. Kevin McLeod officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Myrle Ralph Morris was born on July 31, 1924, in Clarks, LA, and went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2014, after a brave and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Monroe. He was a carpenter by trade and later worked as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Morris retired from Central Bank in 1989. He loved the outdoors, camping with his family and friends, and was an avid LSU fan. Mr. Morris was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be remembered as always helping other people.Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Artie W.
