Graveside Services for MSGT/E7 Thomas Oliver Roan, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun, LA with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.



Tom was born in Calhoun, LA on December 13, 1934 and passed away in Monroe, LA on September 19, 2011.  He retired after 26 years of service from the United States Air Force at Langley AFB, VA, where he was assigned to the1st Tactical Fighter Wing.  Tom was a Mason, belonging to Urim Lodge 111 in Calhoun, LA.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Nelda Nolan Roan; son, Thomas Arthur Roan and grandson, Paul Aaron Stoll.



Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Roan Lenz and husband, Dale; grandchildren, Nikki Stoll of Las Vegas, NV, Robby Lenz and Tommy Lenz both of Poolesville, MD; and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Dominic Coleman of Las Vegas, NV.



Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Monroe Chapter.
